Brisket & Ribs

  1. Place bags in a cold pot of water
  2. Gradually bring to the simmer
  3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes – do not allow to boil
  4. Remove pot from heat and allow bags to rest in water for additional minute or so
  5. Remove meat from bag and serve with as much (or little) sauce as you like
  6. Enjoy!

Pulled Pork

  1. Place bags in a cold pot of water
  2. Gradually bring to the simmer
  3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes – do not allow to boil
  4. Remove pot from heat and allow bags to rest in water for additional minute or so
  5. Whilst in bag use tea towel to ‘crush’ pork to pull apart
  6. Serve as you like – add to your pit place or enjoy as a pulled pork burger with some of our pickles and slaw. Delicious!

Steak

  1. Remove steak and marinade from bag and cook your preferred way. We suggest searing in a pan to your liking – rare, medium rare, medium or well done.
  2. If you have a sous-vide (water bath) you can also set to your desired cooking temp and leave in bath for 15-20 mins then remove from bag and sear 1 minute each side on a hot pan.

Chicken Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Remove wings from bag and place in baking dish on greaseproof paper
  3. Heat for 15-20 minutes or until warmed through
  4. When wings are hot and turning slightly black (caramelising) they are ready. Remove from oven and serve with your favourite dipping sauce!

Mash

  1. Place bags in a cold pot of water
  2. Gradually bring to the simmer
  3. Simmer for 2-3 minutes – do not allow to boil
  4. Remove pot from heat and allow bags to rest in water for additional minute or so
  5. Remove mash from bag and plate
  6. Enjoy!

Chorizo

Slice, pan fry and serve!

We serve ours with a little saltbush and bush tomato for extra deliciousness.

If you have a sous-vide, brisket, ribs, pulled pork and mash can also be heated via this method.

Set your sous-vide to 65-70 degrees, place bags in water and leave for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
